Lamanai Ruins

Outskirts of Belize..

Okay so this is one of the temples in that area. Apparently, the richer people used to be at the very top so that they could be closer to the heavens. The poorer people would be at the bottom. They also used to offer people as sacrifices on those lower levels.. YIKES!!! Apparently, they would lay them on one of those stone areas you see and sacrifice them. There's tons more history to it but it was so hot and sunny I think I zoned out after a while. We climbed to the very top, it was real pretty and sorta scary cuz I am kinda freaked out with heights. I will post some pics from the top later.

Brings back memories of my trip to the Yucatan area. My main problem then was all the other tourists getting into my shot. I guess you have to go really early in the moring to avoid that.
Foluso Olowude: I guess so, luckily our tour didn't have that many people on it.

I checked your archive and tried to check the details of your shuts aswell. i believe you have to try to put your resolution higher. and when it comes to taking pictures on a bright sunny day. try to set your camera a little bit under. i got the chance to see one of the mayan ruins in chachoben in mexico aswell. it is really hard to take pictures of the ruins. a lot of people. so isla san pedro(la isla bonita, madonna0. to bad i didnt got the chance to go there. but good i was lucky to see a black jaguar in belize zoo. i guess the $100 dollar that i paid for is worth it. by the way i agree with them you have to check your horizon on your shuts. and try to use the rules of 3rd aswell.
